Exactly 135 days following the previous coach's first press conference as the club's manager, his replacement the German coach faced reporters at Rangers' stadium for the initial occasion.

The magnitude of the challenge ahead of him is widely recognized, considering Martin's chaotic and unsuccessful 123-day spell.

The ex- Wednesday manager was joined by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, along with the much-criticized duo of sporting director Thelwell and CEO Stewart.

But what precisely did we learn from the young German's first public appearance as the club's manager?

Rohl's Main Priority - Winning is Everything

One thing came through loud and clear from Rohl's initial presentation in front of the Scottish media - he understands the necessity to secure victories, and achieve this rapidly.

His predecessor Russell Martin lasted only 17 games and 123 days in charge, so the inquiry emerged about how long Rohl believes is reasonable to turn around the underperforming team.

Although deftly sidestepping a direct answer that could bring later expectations, Rohl's message was quite clear.

"With hope as soon as possible," he said. "This is essential.
"In football you have not much opportunity. You can discuss long-term vision but we know it's about the short-term and that period involves securing victories. That is what I demand.
"One thing is also clear - I require every squad member to comprehend our intended to play. I come back to my primary message: it's winning, entertaining football and it's together. By following this order, I believe that I'll stay very long at the club."

Pressure is Standard

The previous manager needed a police escort to leave the stadium after his last game in charge.

We've seen how hostile environments can become at sports teams when performances decline. Protests have nearly become a regular aspect of the matchday atmosphere on each part of Glasgow currently.

As Rangers' youngest manager in history, the question was posed about which attributes the coach thinks he has that would allow him to handle, let alone excel, in among the highest-pressure roles in British football?

"I think pressure in football is normal," he commented. "You must learn that very quickly.
"I believe some people might mention my age but I have been a decade and a half in this career. I experienced an excellent opportunity to be at the German club and be only an assistant coach, but I felt the reality to be a head coach and the pressure involved.
"You begin getting results and then certain people will say you must produce entertaining football. That's the next phase but that's exactly my intention. I enjoy that challenge and I look forward about the future."

The Sporting Director Defends Striker Acquisition & Appointing Family Member

Kevin Thelwell media conference

There were plenty of questions from the media directed at Thelwell.

Significant attention has concerned the appointment of his son as head of recruitment, with fans skeptical about his qualifications for the role.

However, he justified and explained the choice to recruit Thelwell Jnr to the club.

"It's always awkward to listen and in appearance I think everyone understood when we made this decision to hire him that he'd be viewed in a particular way," Thelwell said.
"The truth of the situation is that we aim to bring the top talent to this club.
"My perspective on Robbie's career and situation is he required no family help in soccer.
"He's worked at Aston Villa as head scout, he then moved to Norwich City as head of scouting and then was elevated to player pathways manager.
"Before we hiring him, multiple Premier League teams wanted to acquire him. What we did right at the start of the process was consult with the CEO, the chairman and vice-chairman Marathe about this matter.
"I remained highly transparent and I think Robbie probably underwent a stricter process than anybody else employee by this football club.
"I'm certain is that he will work 25/8 to be successful for this football club and I'm looking forward seeing him demonstrating that he's going to be a valuable staff member for the club."

Additionally, Thelwell defended the signing of striker Youssef Chermiti, who joined Rangers for a reported first payment of £8m, after failing to find the net in 24 games for Everton.

The sporting director who transferred the Portugal young international to Liverpool from Sporting - once more for large funds in a fifteen million pound deal.

He was asked if he supports his multi-million pound purchase, who is yet to register in seven matches for the club.

"Absolutely, very much so," Thelwell answered. "I believe the striker is a player who's possesses great ability.
"I haven't doubted him whatsoever. Similarly, I believe Danny will assist in maximize the potential out of the player.
"It's very initial stages for him, he remains young talent and naturally with inexperienced players they occasionally require patience.
"But I'm certain over the course of his career at the club he's going to prove that he is highly capable footballer."

The CEO Acknowledges Fan Frustration and Hurt

The chief executive was facing scrutiny, considering the criticism that has been aimed his way by some club own supporters.

Additionally, there was a sign in the Sandy Jardine stand during the recent tie with United suggesting him - and the sporting director - to depart before being removed for them.

Similar to the football director, the CEO did not evade the topic.

"I completely appreciate the frustration and anger that fans are feeling because results this season haven't met expectations and nobody's satisfied with those," he stated.
"The hurt and disappointment they feel is matched inside the leadership.
"Recognize that there must exist a channel for that dissatisfaction and as chief executive, that's me.
"I serve as focal point for those and my role as a
